We all need help when it comes to the temptations of desserts and other foods with sugar especially that can spike our blood sugars.

Hi Rob, thank you for all those reminders. When these holidays arrive, I have 2 weeks away from my exercise program. I have 4 family gatherings coming up and 2 parties with friends. I know how those are, loaded with food I haven’t had in a while because I have been carefully choosing my meals. I like the idea of planning ahead. Excellent article, Rob! I feel there is a lot of really good information here for someone that’s either dealing with Diabetes personally, or knows someone who is.
Though I’ve never had to battle Diabetes myself, I have friends and family that do. There’s a lot of restrictions in the diet, and they’re always keeping food with them on the go to help balance out their blood-sugar levels.

My friend has diabetes. He has been careless about this over the last years, with consequences .. He is taking much better care of himself now and I’m sure that he will appreciate your article. I will share it with him. There are some great tips here. Skipping meals is definitely not a good idea, I don’t know why people do that.
