About Me

About Me

Where I’m From

I’m Rob Sciubba originally from Long Island, New York, now residing in Florida. I’ve always believed that everything happens for a reason. As I look back over the years, it’s nice to be here now as I am introducing myself to you.

While my profession was designing corrugated boxes and displays for many years, I’ve retired from that field and I now concentrate on helping others in any way that I can. I’ve always been that way, but now I have more time to invest in doing so.

Growing up as a kid, I think we just want to be happy and have fun because that’s what kids do. You really don’t think about growing up and getting older when you’re young.

I never thought too much about health unless I got sick and didn’t have to go to school (YEAH!) I remember several times being out of school for two weeks with bronchitis. But as kids, we always seem to bounce back for the most part. Mom was always there to take care of us kids.

But as time went on, we grow up, get married, have our own kids, and then have to take care of ourselves. How many times when you see someone and then you part ways, they say, “Take care!” It’s just an expression, or is it?

For me, I felt that I basically took care of myself. I was no bodybuilder and certainly not a hypochondriac either! We don’t realize how great things are until they start to go wrong.

My mother used to always say, “Your health is the most important thing in life.” She was absolutely correct and I know this because she also used to say, “I’m not always right, but I’m never wrong!” Can’t argue with mom!

What’s Your Story and How Can I Help You?

I wonder how many of you can tell the same story? Everyone should be grateful and express positivity and gratitude each and every day of our lives. It sure isn’t easy when times are bad, but there are always others who have it much worse than you do. Most of the time for whatever it may be in our lives, we are probably not the best, but not the worst either.

I’ve always told my kids that we are all most likely in the middle somewhere. Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing. Just look at your life and take control and take the necessary steps to do whatever you can to be healthy and happy.

I’ve raised two daughters and I think I did a pretty good job. I’m always there for them even though they are many miles away. I will put the effort in to help others because I feel that’s what we are meant to do here in life.

I’ve always been the type of person who looks to help others. There is no feeling that is greater for me than to know that I can do something good and positive for someone. Life is like a gift. Open it and use it before you have to return it!

Time to Get Healthy

Growing up we get bumps and bruises and experience many different health issues. But as we get older, it seems that there are more issues that seem to creep up on us. Diabetes is something that a lot of people have and  the old saying is, “Knowledge is power!” So, being diagnosed as a diabetic, I’ve learned a great deal from researching and living it.

Who wants to take one, two, three or more medications or insulin? Nobody, of course! Diabetes can be controlled naturally and there are many ways to accomplish this. As I am helping myself, I want to help you as well. We only get one shot at life. Let’s do this right!

So because I developed type 2 diabetes, I decided that it wasn’t for me and I became passionate about treating high blood sugars and reversing diabetes the natural way and I wanted to help others. I’ve always been that way in my life. That’s why I am here, to help you to lower your blood sugar, treat and possibly end your type 2 diabetes and to share as much with you and communicate with you as possible!

    1. Hi Ahmed! Thank you so much for stopping by! I’m trying to provide as much help as I can to folks who need to lower their blood sugars and treat their diabetes.
It’s very important to prevent diabetes rather than have to treat it. And Yes Ahmed, water is the essential of life and vital to our survival! Thank you for your interest in me and why I’m here! Feel free to pass this on to others in need!
      Cheers!

  3. Hi Rob, thank you for sharing your story. My Mom says the same thing, ‘health is the most important thing in life’. And just like you, I thought I take good care of myself. But if I take a hard look, that’s just not true. It’s time to take actions before it’s too late.

    1. Hi there Wei! Aren’t moms always right? She always said that about health being the most important thing in life. I hope that I can people learn from my experiences in life with regards to health. If I can help one person to prevent diabetes or begin to treat and reverse it, I will be one happy camper. Let’s all change now to make things better! Thanks for sharing!

  4. Health is the basis of everything. Thanks for sharing valuable information, it is never too late to learn. I think your post is very informative and that surely comes from focusing on a subject you have at heart.
    Looking forward to learning more.

    1. Hey Andrew, I couldn’t agree more. You’re absolutely correct. It never is too late to learn anything but it’s better to know about something before so that you can possibly prevent it. We’re all here to help each other and I’m always looking to learn from others as I pass on information to them as well. The more we are knowledgeable about our health the better off we will be, especially as we age. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
      Cheers!

  6. Hello Rob,

It is wonderful to “meet” you! Thank you for sharing so much about yourself so we understand where you are coming from.

There is no doubt that your quest to be healthy and naturally lowering blood pressure will pay off while also helping others who are in the same boat!

    Keep changing the world!

    Russell

    1. Hi Russell! It’s great to meet you too. The more people I meet and get to spread the word about attacking diabetes the better.
And you’re correct. I am on a quest to help change things for folks who have diabetes. It’s the least I can do. Helping others is the best feeling in the world 🙂
      Thank you for sharing 🙂
      Cheers!

  7. Hi Rob – I love your line “So because I developed type 2 diabetes, I decided that it wasn’t for me”! Yes I get that! It’s interesting that we can sail through life and then when something gives us a wake up call it inspires us to help others through the same situation. I’ve been in the same situation and it drove me to educate other people about their health and wellbeing, and the need for advocating for themselves to get the outcomes they need. Helping others truly is a wonderful feeling 🙂 Awesome work Rob.

    1. Hey Melisa 🙂 I guess when you get diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, you have to have some kind of sense of humor.
But I’ve always been that way. It’s all about trying to see the positive side of things and diabetes is no different.
It is a wake up call and time to do something about so I figured why just help myself when I can help others too? It’s the best feeling in the world when you can help someone. Thanks for stopping by!
      Cheers!

  8. Great post Rob, I really enjoyed reading it and it sounds like you definitely have a lot of knowledge and passion on the subject. My mother has gone through some health problems recently and is always telling me the same things as your mother – Health is the most important thing. And I completely agree!

I look forward to hearing more about what you have to say about natural ways to lower blood sugar!

    1. Thank you Zoe 🙂 I’m glad you’re reading it because I am extremely passionate about diabetes and lowering blood sugar. Mom is always right! I just want to spread the word as much as I can so that others won’t have to suffer and hopefully won’t have to take medications for diabetes.
Keep looking because I will always be writing more 🙂
      Cheers!

  10. A great introduction to you, Rob. Thanks for this. My mother was diagnosed a diabetic, so she decided to go on a plant-based diet cutting out all processed food. This was tough for her, but after 3 months she had reversed it. This blog should help a lot of people out there! Eat well! Live well!

    1. Hey Dean, thank you 🙂 I’m sorry to hear that your mom was diagnosed. But that’s a wise idea going on a plant based diet.I’m happy to hear that she reversed it! My goal is to help others treat and reverse their type 2 diabetes too. Thank you for sharing! 🙂

    1. Thanks Dave. Most people who are unhealthy do manage their health the wrong way. The goal of my website is to get healthy and help others lower their blood sugar too and control their diabetes, but also provide other health tips along the way because we all need to know as much as possible about diabetes and being healthy in general. I want to pass it on to others. Thanks for stopping by 🙂
