I just had a liver resection and was told I’m pre-diabetic. Although I hope it never becomes an issue, I like the format you provide in self reminders on taking medication. I do take chemotherapy pills and these suggestions could apply to that as well.
I like the pillbox idea, our local pharmacy offers that and my Mom always remembers to take her pills on time.
Hi Jagi π
I’m sorry to hear about your conditions. I don’t like taking medications and that’s why my website is all about lowering blood sugars the natural ways.
But if you are a diabetic and must take medications, it’s good to know when the best time it is to take them.
I think the times are varied because everyone is different with diabetic conditions that are not the same in everyone else.
The pillbox is great. But also everything should be discussed with your physician to determine when you should be taking your meds.
Thank you for sharing π
I have been recently told I am pre-diabetic and this is very helpful. I really don’t want to get to the next stage so I am trying to head that off at the pass. I have already changed up my diet and exercise a deal already. So I was taken by surprise when my blood sugar came back abnormal during a recent check up. I guess it was good to find out now instead of later! I will keep checking back and see your other recommendations. Thanks!
Hey Robert,
Once you are prediabetic, it’s vital to be careful and stay on top of everything when it comes to diabetes.
And of course you don’t want to get diabetes but if you do, it’s important to be proactive and know everything there is to know about this dreadful disease.
Checkups with your doctor, knowing all there is to know about diabetes, (which you can learn here on my website) and then knowing just when to take your diabetes medications.
My my goal is to attack diabetes and blood sugars the natural ways and not to take medications.

Hi Rob,
Really nice article, thanks for all the info!
Those are really great tips for diabetic medicines. I also like how you mention that diabetes can be reversed or managed with major lifestyle changes and natural alternatives. But of course this unfortunately doesn’t work with everyone, but it really can help!
Thanks again
Anna
Hey Anna π
Thank you for saying and you’re very welcome π It is very important to take your medications at the right time.
But they are only bandaids for your diabetes condition because I truly believe in the natural ways to lower your blood sugar.
A major lifestyle change is in order when your blood sugars and diabetes get out of control. The goal here is to take your medications according to your doctor’s orders, but changing to a healthy lifestyle of eating healthy and exercising is the better choice before you must take medication.
The key is to keep your blood sugars stable.
Thank you for your comments. Appreciate it π
Hello, the first thing that i noticed when i opened this page is the beauty of the website. i am sure you have put much effort into creating this article and the details are really clear here. i engaged this article because of my aunt who is in need of some advice and i think that this will really help her.
Hi Benny,
Let me just say that I created this website to hopefully look nice, but even more important it’s the content that I am providing to the readers.
For anyone with diabetes, it’s vital to know just when to take your medication. The purpose of my website is to treat diabetes and blood sugars the natural ways.
But while you are taking medication, it’s important to know when to take them. Even though I believe medications are just masking the problem. They are prescribed by your doctor and only temporary if you follow the ways to lower your blood sugars naturally.
I hope that your benefits from the information I have provided.
Appreciate your feedback. Thanks π
I would love to create a website like yours as the template used is really nice, simple and brings about clarity of the write ups, but then you wrote a brilliant article on when to take diabetes medication. i would strongly believe that however we want to take the medication, we should not go against the doctors prescription.
Hey Smoochi,
Thank you! It’s all about providing excellent information for those with diabetes looking to lower their blood sugar.
But it’s vital to know when you should be taking your medication. That all depends on each individual.
Once you’re diagnosed it’s your doctor who should be making that decision. So regular visits and setting up a plan would be best.
What medication you take and when you take it is the best course of action but remember, natural ways to lower your blood sugar and treat diabetes is the better option.
